The Fynn Valey Golf Club has a restaurant and is situated on the B1077 to the South of Witnesham Village.
Witnesham has its own pub the 'Barley Mow' which serves bar meals.
The Moon & Mushroom is situated in Swilland (off the B1077, North of Witnesham) they serve food and fine real ales.
Westerfield has two pubs, The Swan and The Railway, both on the B1077.
There is a restaurant in Tuddenham St Martin, 'The Fountain', where Giles was to be often found. There are many places to eat out either in the local villages, Woodbridge or Ipswich
The Fynn Valley Golf Club is situated on the B1077 to the south of Witnesham Village.
There is access to the Fynn Valley Walk nearby, which links up with the Suffolk Coastal Walk.
is situated on the river Deben, 5 miles to the East of Witnesham and can be accessed via the East Suffolk rail line. The station is situated on the waterfront with easy access to the Tide Mill and the 'Thoroughfare' with it's unique shopping facilities. There are a variety of Public houses and restaurants within the town.
Sutton Hoo is a very short drive away
is held annually at the Showground off the A1156 to Felixstowe. There are several other events here throughout the year.
Foxhall Stadium is within easy reach, where Stock Car racing and Speedway events are regularly held.
Otley College offers many one day courses and evening classes which run alongside their full time courses.
The Mid-Suffolk Showground and Stonham Barns off the A1120 has various events throughout the year. The Barns are open most days with access to the Birds of Prey Sanctuary.
